I WRITE in relation to asylum seekers and ask, how many people are we providing for at taxpayers’ expense while Australians are walking the streets because they don’t have a roof over their head?
How many of the “do-gooders” have taken asylum seekers into their homes to feed and clothe them? Maybe the asylum seekers could dip into their money reserves, as they must have plenty after paying airfares to Indonesia, plus thousands to the people providing the boats to get a seat.
There is an old saying, charity begins at home.
Good on you Mr Rudd, my vote will be going your way.
